Through power or money, the upper class always sets the rules of the game, and the lower class can only accept them passively and helplessly without having any way to break free. However, some privileged people are able to disregard the rules of the game, and in this unfair social structure, the upper class still create false pretences through the media to encourage people to seek freedom and give them the unfulfilled hope that they can alter the rules of the game under the established ones. This is incredibly inhumane and harsh. The stairway of knives in this project is essentially a metaphor for the invisible blood and flesh traps that we encounter daily, and I feel powerless to break the laws of this particular game.
